back up camera power switch

I have installed my back up camera, tapped into the reverse wire to engage the camera once in reverse. I also installed a toggle switch to turn the camera on when towing.

Problem: when the toggle switch is on so is the reverse bulb on that side. I have read you can put a diode inline to eliminate the bulb illuminating when the toggle is on. I have no idea where I should put this diode, can someone explain?
