Back in the game again

I was into cars and car audio in my teens and early 20's. I got away from it for a while and got more into drag racing, then bikes, and then into boats. I recently got the urge to try another system, and I got bit by the bug once again at 36.

I currently have 2 Sundown sa8's in a ported box tuned to about 32 Hz in my Mountaineer. It sounds good and is pretty loud for 2 8's, but I am wanting more. I have 3 more sa8's, and I am planning a box for 4. I plan on building a small sealed box for 1 to go in my dually.

I have the sa8's on a DD m1c. Do you guys think that amp will be enough to push 4?

I forgot to mention that my 2 8's hit 137.2 legal. Is that about right for these subs, or could my box wrong? I ask because I was thinking about modeling my new box after the current one.

I didn't get any video of that setup. I have just added a third sa8 today. Now I am seeing .67 ohms at the amp. It is considerably louder now.

I plan on going back to put it on the meter again. I will try to get some video this time.

Well I put it back on the meter, but I couldn't get video because I was busy plugging my ears. I didn't think to bring any ear plugs.

It did about what I was expecting with a 141.7 I am planning on building a new box, hoping to get a few more db's out of it.
