Hey guys,

I just wanted to say what's up, I'm sorry I haven't been on the board as a newbie but ran into some problems and I have to right them before I can play like I want. I'll be posting some pics of the stuff I'm still hangin' on to and if anybody who can possibly bench test a head unit for me I would appreciate it. It will tell me if I need to buy a new head unit. Hopefully I'll be past all this in about a week and then I can get to work on my system. vlovett@gmail.com for any info on the bench test.

Hey man. I don't really have the means to bench an H/U but hopefully someone here can or knows another person that has the stuff.

Shouldn't be too bad.

Depends on what you're looking to test on it though. You really just need a car speaker (something with low wattage needs), a 12v battery, some wire, and something that accepts RCA input to play some tunes through (a home stereo with an aux input).

You should be able to test just about everything on the unit. Unless you're trying to see how many watts the internal amp actually puts out..

Well as far as I can tell it's something that is affecting the CD player from working. The radio lights up but the last time I did it more lights than anything else. No sound from anything and mechanically looking....no burned components, nothing broken and everything appears in working order. We'll see what I can come up with. Thanks for the info though.

I say lets to a before move hang. Weather is WAY to perfect right now. Mabey I can bring a suprise guest to the hang for a short photo op / interview. Would have to get the exact date and time down to set it up.
