awt12x clarion amp advice

i have a awt12x sub rated at 200ow rms its 2ohm dvc. currently im under powering them with about 500w (boss riot 1500d). the sub is in factory recomended ported enclosure tuned to 35. im about to buy a clarion DPX 1000.2

amp to replace the boss. $100.00 good or bad deal. let me know what you think. thanx
