Got her for my birthday. First dog I've ever had and she seems to be a really smart pup so far. I have been reading up on taking care/training puppies and have talked to some dog owners, but if anyone has any tips or anything they would like to share as far as potty training or any other training goes, it would be appreciated!

train them as early as possible.. its easier

try to use the same words for each task...

if you start to say no keep it with no.. not stop etc etc

get it? the more variation in command the more difficult it is for the dog to decipher whats what

feed them chocolate, onion, and grapes.

if you stick with a constant routine with the dog, training is uber easy. with potty training if you train the do that you'll let them out after you go to the bathroom in the morning and immediately when you get home in the afternoon, they'll pick that up in a few days. once they get 1 trick down you can teach them 1 more every 3-4 days but remember to refresh them on all of them daily.

If it craps on the floor please dont use a rolled up newspaper and smack it on the nose.. That is so mean and cruel to the dog..

Use a Pool stick or a baseball bat instead.

And dont feed the dog chocolate.... It will get worms.... Use antifreeze they like it much better.... GL with your new puppy

if it pee's on the carpet, rub her nose in it, then you piss on her ears.

same goes for poop.

When I was raising my dog I used to pistol whip it every time it did something wrong. One time the gun went off and the loud noise scared her. Ever since then she has done everything perfect

Um...that is a strange mix there lol. Cool looking pup, but looks nothing like a Boxer OR a Husky haha. Kinda looks like a Lab.
