AVH-X5500BHS issues with iPhone 5

Hello all..

So I have a Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS.. bought the iPhone kit.. and downloaded the iPhone 5 firmware update - and still having an issue.

When I connect my phone, I get a "incompatible USB" error. Even switched out my lightning cable - and still the same issue. Am I missing something here? Anyone have the newer AVH decks with an iPhone 5? What am I doing wrong? Seems pretty clear cut - but it's not working for some reason.

I have a AVH-p4400bh and I get that error sometimes with my IPod I had to reset my ipod then it worked fine maybe your phone just needs to be reset?
