Hey guys, need a bit of help.
I purchased a Pioneer AVH-P6000DVD about a month ago, and paid to have it installed at Best Buy.
Today, when I started the truck up after filling my tank, I heard the CD I was listening to pop a bit, and then go completely faint. Tuner still works fine, and I can get FM/AM stations perfectly, but when I switch over to CD's, I have to turn the volume all the way up to hear anything.
The guys at Best Buy said that this is basically guaranteed to be an internal Head Unit problem, and that I should take it back to the retailer I got it from, and get a new unit. I don't mind doing this, per se, but I just thought I'd come here and get a second opinion. Is there any way that this could be wiring? Or did something inside the Head Unit short out?
