i just ordered the 4200 hope it works alright.

4300 includes a remote, allows playback of MPEG's, SVCD's, VCD's, and is updated for newer iphones/ipods.

It should I know that 4300 dvd has the higher preouts 4 volts 4200 has 2 volts.The 4300dvd has pandora link not sure about 4200dvd

all of the above. i also read somewhere that the 4200 is not compatible with iphone 4

i have the 4300 and it works fine with the 4

Incorrect. The 4200 has 4v preouts as well. Compare them side by side on sonicelectronix and it shows the differences. I posted them above.

Since they are the same price theres really no reason to NOT go with the 4300.

Oh well. I don't own an ipod or iphone so there's really no difference for me. nobody uses the pandora, my 3rd gen ipod touch working with it makes me uneasy now but meh.

Well since were discussing things do you think this will work? I have a htc smartphone and was going to buy this

HTC 73H00348-00M AV Cable

and use my phones gps to show it on the avh4300dvd screen instead should that work

the htc thing should work alright, there are better services than pandora and you can only use it when you have 3g service, even then it lags sometimes. where im from service is spotty so driving and trying to listen to internet radio would be a waste of time
