AVH-P4100DVD or AVH-P5100DVD?

My car was recently vandalized and who ever did it took my Jensen DVD/CD player. Insurance says they will replace it with either Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD or AVH-P5100DVD. I'm leaning towards the 4100 one, but I'd like to get some recommendations from you guys before I call back tomorrow and tell em which one I want.

If you scroll down from this website: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/DVD-Receivers/AVH-P4100DVD?tab=B

You will find a comparison between the two. I don't know anything about audio so please shed some light //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I'm calling them tomorrow, so please help me decide by the end of the day ~11pm ish. Thanks again!

My research so far:

Single din(5100) vs Double din (4100) ---> pretty obvious info but just incase

The 5100 has 'Detachable Face Security' ---> does that mean I can take the unit out without tools or anything? (if so, I like this because I'd like tell thieves that I don't have a stereo in my car)

I have 2 specific requirements that I need to make sure this head unit can fulfill: 1. This deck needs to play .wav files through USB and 2. This deck needs to be able to power a laptop harddrive (2.5" drive). Besides these two requirements, anyone who has this deck might be able to help answer if this deck's display makes navigating through folders/files on the harddrive easy and intuitive.

Its really up to u man. What do u prefer more.. Everything is very similar, the major diffrence is the DIN size..

I myself would go with the 5100.. Datachable plate when on risky places, and u dont have to watch the screen all the time,u can use it as a single player if u like it,and the double din is always going to be ''in front of your eyes''

I decided on the 5100.

I do have a few things I need help with still. Is there a workaround or bypass that would allow for viewing of DVD content while driving? I have the green parking break wire connected to ground thinking this would work, but no luck. If anyone can help me with this, that would be great!
