I see many sides to the movie but the humans lost for a reason. My interpretation was that are race had became a self absorbed and high headed society. We needed their resources because ours were running out and our planet was dying. This is where the foreshadowing of not the movie but are future as a race and planet comes in play. So we fight and bring down the big tree (Representing our care for nature) in a sense we became terrorists of the world. The tree is like the falling of the twin towers but instead of a crumbling society our planet is crumbling and needs to be saved. Now the end of the movie foreshadows the wrath of nature when all of the animals of the planet fight back against the humans. The end shows how our belittling of nature can strike back and in our case, will in the near future. Whether it be our planet begins to violently shift into a new climate or as simple as all of our sources of food and water die out.

This is my view take it or leave it.

I see what you did there.

I agree, but what do you expect. It was produced by m knight shyamalan. I hate how they compressed book 1 into 120 minutes. I hope book 2 is better, if there is a book 2.
we don't care what you think, you're a mod. You're not one of the people that matter, which are the end users.

Am I the only one who didn't think it was that great of a movie? I mean, I'm not 12 years old I guess.. But I thought it was a kind of boring half-animated love story.

Big Lebowski.. now thats a great movie.
