well @ tuning is when the cone moves the LEAST...but the pressure inside the box is the highest. do you know what that box is tuned at? (TUAN'S BOX) he said it was an SQL car so i'd assume right around 30. i played with it the other day with the paper, and the paper moved the most around 20Hz. the penny vid kinda sucks! my roof is so small that it really doesn't flex much...which isn't really a bad thing and lastly i gotta wait till tommorow to get the hair vid when i go to my moms. my g/f has kinda short hair and it doesn't get going as good as my moms.

but nowhere near as good as tuan's.

i was gonna try to get that vid today, but my starter went out this morning, and since i didn't write down all my settings (like the book said to) i wanna break out the DMM and reset my gains before i go burping 20Hz tones, if you know what i mean.....

that box is actually not just a straight up ported box. Its a pretty complicated design. I think its kind of a mix of a horn and a tl. I really have no idea. All I know is it is **** loud and sounds good too.

I know that a low tuning(i.e. 30Hz and below) with a lot of port area can get some hair moving, then factor in your power, try burping yours @ 30Hz and see what happens, mid to high volume too. But like said above, Pete's wall is a hybrid TL/rear horn with hella port area tuned @ 30Hz.

well, i'm tuned @25Hz w/ 70 in^2(i wish i could of got more) and 1500w. so for this vid, all the windows up, except hers, should she be in the car w/ her hair hanging out? i've only done it with her outside the car, putting her head up to the halfway rolled down window.

also does anyone know where i can learn more about that type of box? is it pretty hard? it's huge aint it?
