what are the sealed and ported box size reccomendations for the avalanche 18? how about the ported recommendations for the the ava 15? would my amp listed in the sig be enough for the 18?

I think they require quite large boxes, something like 8^3ft comes to mind, I could be thinking of a different line of subs.

Under the DIY section, they have ported and sealed recommendations. I have the 18 in a sealed box about 4.5 cubes and it's awesome. I may go ported one day after I get used to it.

3-3.5cubes tuned from about 28-35 works well for the ava 15...
