wanna buy it from a guy off of craigslist in detroit for maybe $140, but don't know if i

can wire it to a 12" W7?

here are the specs.

Class-X amplifier

2 x 500W @ 4 Ohms

2 x 750W @ 2 Ohms

1 x 1200W @ 1 Ohm

1 x 2400W @ 2 Ohms bridged

could i put this amp a 1 channel at 3 ohms?

It'll be about 600 watts. Which is OK, but a little over 1000 would be better (double power = +3dB) Tough with a 3 ohm sub.

You'll actually need a 1000 watt 4 ohm amp (2000 watt 2 ohm, 4000 watt 1 ohm, blah blah blah)

wouldn't 600 watts be on 2 ch at 3 ohms?

Yes, and like CarAudioGuru stated.. you will get roughly 600 watts.

I'll admit, I was going to buy the very same amp, but the d00d was too far away to make it worth my while.
