This is geared towards those who have ran this amplifier before. I'm just curious as to the electrical setup you were using when running this amp. I remember reading somewhere about a guy running this amp at 2ohm and only having a Stinger SPV 35 up front and an SPV 70 in the rear on his stock Acura tsx alternator. Just curious on the efficiency of this amp for daily use.

I was planning on selling this and grabbing an AQ 3500, but from the little extra research I've done on these amps, I think I may keep it and use it to murder my stock 99' civic alt. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

I ran 1 on a Kinetik 800 under the hood, 2 kinetik 2400's in the back, mechman 250 amp alternator.

Voltage dropped as low as low 13's/high 12's full tilt at idle

Thanks, thats the kind of answer i'm looking for. I'm just pondering if this will be ok to bump at half tilt for 15 minute commutes on a single PM d3100 in the back with a d5100r up front. It's a stock honda civic alt. and I wouldnt be playing on it all day so i think the alt. would have plenty of time to charge the batt when I'm not bumping it. I also have a small battery charger I would be able to use at my house if need be.

arent civic alts like 70 or 90 amp? I personally wouldnt do it.

Ya, I'll probably just wait and grab the alt first then i guess. Minimum wage jobs and paying for school make this hobby seem a lot more unattainable every day lol.

KHC 1400 up front and two 2400s in back with a 200amp Alt

Amp was still drawing too much.

It's a great amp, but power for electric ratio is not worth it. It is too hungry!
