Poast up some reviews for me here. I'm familiar with AQ's products... I owned an HD3 15, and it was loud. As hell. I've installed a few HDC3s and they are loud as well.

I don't hear too much about people using SDC2.5s much, though. I plan on running a pair on an AQ 1200D. Let me know what y'all think of em.

Me and a friend installed a pair of 15" SDC2.5's in his 98' Pathfinder on 1 AQ 1200D and it was stupid loud. 6 cube box tuned to 40Hz...subs up, port back.

We added a 2nd AQ 1200D to it strapped, and they get low and loud..

They are pretty well built, have pretty beefy mags on them, and I love the direct connect...

They do like smaller boxes as we've found out, but the 6 cube box tuned to 40Hz sounds **** good.....

Yeah, I'd strap another 1200D for comps. They'd take 2400w on a burp no problem?

I saw a build on here a while ago where someone was using two 15" SDC2.5s.

I am also going to be putting 4 12" SDC2.5s in my suv, already got the subs sitting here in my bedroom, So I will let you know how the sound w/in the next couple weeks when i get them installed.

I posted a review of them a while back. I drop tested them vs the HD3c. One SD2.5c 12 with dual 4 coils was really close to a single HD3c 12 with dual 2 coils on an AQ 2200d amp. It's a very loud and efficient woofer. I personally think it sounded better than the HD3c in that install. Do a search and you should find my test. I don't remember all the particulars.

They are very good as a loud daily sub when you are wanting to run a quality budget system add a AQ 1200 and have fun.

I did a box for 2 15's a few months back. 8.5cubes @ 38Hz off a AQ 1200D. Sounds good on a variety of music and has some serious low end grunt. Beats the crap out of the guys Pathfinder. I was quite impressed by this budget set up and what the SDC's do off of 600watts each.

Yea I remember reading a thread where you and DJ ran a test and got the the 12" SDC2.5 up at 145db.

I'm about to grab a pair of SDC2.5's and the 1200D in the spring once I get my budget straightened out. Still debating on the 12"s or 15"s though.

The second link you posted is the one I was talking about. I really like those 2.5's. A pair of those on a 1200 will get plenty loud for most people.

I think their is someone on ssa forums that was running a AQ 2200D on 2 of them. I don't remember his name but he had a box build in the fisher customs section. I'm going to be running an AB500.1 to 4 of them @ .5 ohm, but i highly doubt its going to take the power daily, i'm expecting to have to be easy on the gain for daily, and then crank it up a lil for burps
