I've built a few enclosures for SDC 15's. Both were 2 subs getting around 1200watts. SQ was quite good, but they can slam when cranked up and killed the lows.

I had an sdc2.515, I loved that thing.. It got loud on 600w and sounded pretty decent too.

thats a beautiful mustang! but anyway, idk, im not looking for loud, just enough to get some bass for the road, im over loud systems..idk..do you think id be better suited with the audique or a diyma 12"?

actually nvm, I just saw that my ed nine.1 does 500rms at 4 ohm..would I wire the dvc 4 sub to 8 ohms, and then bridge the amp for a 4ohm load?

Huh? That makes no sense. One sdc will present the amp either a 2 ohm load or a 8 ohm load. You cannot run a 4 ohm load off of one SDC

Nope, but you can run it to 2 ohm and adjust the gains accordingly

I can't tell you the exact answer to that question since the rca output voltage on your specific HU is the key, you should know how to set your gains by know. Set the volume at the HU at 85-90 percent of full volume, then turn up the gain on the amp until you hear distortion and then back the gain off a bit. Use a 50hz tone to do this as well
