Really impressed with a pair of 15 inch Audioque SDC2.5's I picked up the other day. I got them over at CAclassifieds used from a guy local to me. I dropped them in the same box I was using for me previous setup, two xcon 15's. Same amp, aq2200d. I think the box is tuned @ 29hz, 9.64ish cuft.
I don't have a meter, but without any doubt these subs are getting as loud as my xcons. The sq difference is really negligible. They sound fine in my opinion. Tried rap/electronic/dance/metal.
It really is 80% install imo.
I'd like to note that these are rated for 600 rms while the xcons are rated at 1750.
I only had 1,000 going to each xcon, so they had room for more. The sdc2.5's have to be underrated because i ran full tilt for 15 mins and the subs never even started to get warm.
Way to go AQ. The sdc2.5's without a doubt will satisfy anyone who just wants some thump in their daily.
