No a SA8 recone won't work. The AQ 8 has a 2 inch voicecoil. If you wanted to, there's a guy on ebay that sells old RF recones, and the 8" HE2 recone kit for ~20 bucks worked for my AQ 8. Power handling is lowered, but it still takes 300 watts like a champ. Good sub here, if I needed another one I'd buy it and another HE recone. GLWS!
