AudioQue SD2.5?

Just so everyone knows I am the owner of Audioque. This post is intended as a answer to Ford302 Redneck's question and not as Spam; mods please delete if you think it is.

The SD2.5 is handbuilt. It has multiple laminated spiders, 2.5" high temp dual 4 ohm coils, direct connect leadwires laminated between the spiders and the DD "EROM" surround. It is designed for 500-600 watts RMS but will handle 1000 watts for music.

It works best in moderate size ported boxes, gets very loud and has more then decent sound quality. It best compares with the DD 2500 series.

Plus AQ has the best customer service of any company I've dealt with. Every time I have called DJ answers the phone himself and will answer any questions you have in detail. The only place I have called that you dont feel rushed to get to the point and get off the phone.

X2, just ordered 2 HD315s and got the wrong coils,called em up no proplem changin the order,aswell as he actually took the time to call me back to comfirm that the order had been changed. How can beat that? AQ >kicker re etc

Dj is the father of the owner of digital designs. Great guy. audioque and dd audio share the same build house. Dj once said in a thread on the soundpressure forums that dd is the cadilac and audioque is the big block chevy, or something to that affect, regarding the comparison.

Just make sure that you build the box like DJ tells you to. The enclosure is what's going to make the sub shine. The sub does it's own shining by showing you how loud and how long it can sustain life in a really efficient enclosure as will be recommended. You'll be the envy of your circle of friends, guaranteed. In your mustang, you should drop in a single Audio Que SD2.5-10". Remember that the sub needs an amplifier capable of pushing 2ohm mono loads, as the subwoofer is a dual 4ohm mentioned above by DJ himself. A 1.5 cube box will drop right in the trunk through that narrow opening and is the perfect size for a ported 10" subwoofer. Get stupid it will Jedi. Get us some pics when you are done. Under no circumstances shall you be allowed to slap it in a prefab enclosure of any sort!
