Audioque HD3c 12 video

I shot a little video today of the new Audioque HD3c 12 in action. The video didn't turn out very good, for some reason. The wind was blowing a little, and my camera was picking that up really bad, and for some reason the audio is not in time with the video at all. It plays the audio way ahead of the actual video. Don't know why, but when it stops playing click play again, and drag the progress bullet forward a little, and you can finish watching the rest of the video, even though the sound is already done playing.

The box is 2.0 ft^3 net, tuned to 34 hz with a 6 inch aeroport. The tone played was 49hz. Actual measured power on the woofer was 2518 watts total.

I forgot to show the clamp and DMM while taking the video so I walked over and took a picture afterwards. This is the power from 2 of the 4 amps, so double the power, and that is what the woofer had running it. If you can't see the clamp meter clearly it says 14.26 amps.

I built this sub with the soundquality soft parts. It has a dual 2 copper coil and a little softer suspension then the 8 layer Aluminum FW sql version. The box is not ideal for the sub and is tuned a little lower then I like but I though it did pretty good considering J was playing a 49Hz note in a 34 Hz box.

Isn't it recommended to tune it to 40hz? I'm assuming since you been messing around with them you have....did you just like 34hz better?
I prefer smaller boxes that are tuned lower than the normal recommendation for AQ woofers. I have found that they suit my listening style better like that.

explorer's do that. one time 36hz is .1 was quieter than 44hz. it was a small fart box.

Whats your listening style? I listen to pretty much anything but country, But probably the top genre's are alternative rock, punk, then rap. should I tune it 40hz or would their be something better? I it seems from the hdc3 thread that dJL strongly recommends 40hz. He mentioned that i can still hit the lows at that frequency but if you tune lower some of the highs would be lacking. What would you recommend based on your testing for rock/punk/rap?
