how big was this box? or how big box do you recommend for a single hdc12" with 2500wrms? will 2.4cuft (total/gross) be good?

That box was 2 cuft net. It works very well.

I agree with jeremiah.... WHY? there is no guarantee the Nightshade will be the baddest woofer ever made. The audioque uses the same motor as the DD's. (the most proven woofer in HISTORY in the lanes by FAR) Except I do believe much better daily. Not saying the nightshade won't be everything it is suppose to be. But remember... DD and audioque has been around a while and there are a lot of "nightshades" that have came along and went in their time and they are still around. But who knows... Maybe the new night shades will be the next DD lol. DJ I say screw the nice guy word of mouth. Go into cut throat mode and advertise LOL

you can´t go wrong with DD.. i hope the hdc is almost the same..

Many market have bigger motors, but thats not all! one thing i don´t like with other market are the "sausage" surround.. i like the higher one better like DD and audioque have, it gives you more useful conearea with more xmax
