Does anybody have any experience with these? I called the guy and he said that they use the same motor as the DD 9500's because his son runs DD so they use the same stuff. But i wanted to know if they use the same parts as DD 9500's could i put the same power to one of these? Because he said that this HD sub is actually built better than the 9500's so i did not know if i could run the same power. I was planning on running an Orion 2500 to each one if they will take it. So if anyone has any experience with these tell me how much you were powering them and how they took the power. If they can't take it I guess i will get 2 XXX's, 2 MT's or 2 9515's

Thank you it will be for daily tuned around 30, would a XXX handle that pretty nicely getting around 2kw because i will not have mine gains maxed out.

lol i would hope you wouldnt have them maxed out, after hearing my xxx i was like **** why didnt i get one of those sooner, tuning around 30hz i would def get a xxx, mines tuned to 35hz and drops lower than my rlp or av12 when i had them in 2.2@30hz, oh yeah and did u plan on running the orion at .5ohms?

I'd probably go wit hthe XXX's in that scenario also - I want a XXX more than imaginable but I'm going to have to find a cheaper way out - good luck with it, should sound great.

how are you gonna wire 2 xxx d2's to 1ohm?

The HD15 should get a bit louder than the XXX with a bit worse SQ. IT is basically a DD 9500 series woofer (although it could be slightly more comprable to a 9100 series woofer it uses the 9500 series motor) I ran it in a 4.6ported box @38hz with 1300RMS and the thing pounded. I'm having the same problems myself. Trying to decide between XXX15, HD15, or DD3515 getting around 1200w
