The Audioque amps are pretty darn bullet proof. I have 2 3500Ds I have been trying to blow up and cant. I have run a single amp down to .25 daily and the pair strapped at .375 burping with no issues. Another good sub if you wanted to look at is the new lineup of T3 Audio subs they are looking pretty darn nice

Aq2200 and hdc3 ftw

I loved my aq. Put out a lot of power. Just sold mine for $275 shipped in mint condition with everything original. People put pretty low loads on them as well. I know people who run them at .5ohms daily and never had problems

Im positive Im going with the AQ2200D, unless I can find a SAZ2000D for 350! :nod: But Im still on the fence about DC 4xl, DC lvl 4, RE MX, RE SX. Please help. The box will be 3.4 not including port and sub space. What will yield the highest SPL with this amp? IDK much about port tuning... Todd Zier will be doing that and teaching me.

Yeah. I emailed Rusty and have been trying to call, with no luck. How much are the lvl 4s and 4xls?

i tried calling him today as well, but no answer. and thats really odd bc he always does.

as of the system, get the xl and the aq2200

the hdc3, ive heard get loud but sound hollow. thats from reading not experience. i own the dc lvl 4 xl and imma run the aq 2200. and itll take it and laugh hope that helps.

RE MX is actually pretty good too.

However, id pick the level 4xl over the mx. if the lvl4xl is out of your price range, which it probably is, i would DEFINITELY get the HDC3 while theyre on sale, they get stupid loud for right around your price. ive heard both ways about their SQ, many people who own them swear by them but you occasionally read that they sound hollow. but out of the choices, the HDC3 will easily get the loudest for the buck, especially off an AQ2200. pretty solid combination out of what you're looking at.
