Ok, I am realizing that comparing the sundown 1500 and the AQ 2200 is a bit unfair to the sundown. But this thread has answered my question. Thank guys.

Why, you do realize in his thread the power measured is for a strapped PAIR of amplifiers right?

No, I am referring to the fact that the AQ is rated at 2200 watts and the sundown is rated at 1500 watts. My main questions was more along the lines of, does the AQ really put out the 2200 for the price.
