i just ordered an AQ1200D. what do you guys think about the amp, and what size wire should i run 4 or 0 guage??

It's easier to just run a 0 gauge wire to the back and be done with it. The amp only accepts 4 gauge wire(unless you cut the 0 gauge down to size) so I would run a 0 gauge wire into a distr. block, then a foot or so of 4 gauge to the amp. That's what I did.

i just got one, id go 0 even tho i have a 4 but i plan on going bigger even tho its not really needed right now..i got a type r 15 n it pushes it pretty hard and im using a dc level 4 on it now and its pushes that pretty good too

I just hooked up two of them for each of my 18" BL's and it pushes them well too. Got 0 gauge to the back battery then 4 gauge into the amps.

well i have 8 gauge ran to my high end amp and 4 gauge to my sub amp.. or should i rip it out and put in 0 gauge to a dist block then 4 and 8 gauge to amps

i have the same amp pushing to 12" kicker cvx subs

and its pretty nice hasnt even gotten hot when pushing out to its full potential for 5-10mins straight, i love it.. its doing 13xx rms @ 1 ohm

and i am running 4g knukonceptz flex kable to it, both power and grounds

nice amp will not disapoint you at all should push that sub well maybe add another it will definatley power it.

I think its a really strong amp, Pushes my Se's very nice. Id go with the 0 gauge into a distro.

i use it for my SEs too.

hasn't gotten hot at all.

I run 4 gauge into the block right now and 4 gauge to the amp. Im abuot to do 0 gauge to the block and 4 gauge to amp
