Audiopulse Axis 15"

I was just wondering if anyone here is familiar with the Audiopulse Axis 15". If so, what are your thoughts? I have very little knowledge of the brand, and I'm trying to study up a little. I know Audiopulse was affiliated with TC at one point in time (based on pics of the LMS Ultra sub), but that's about it.

I'm thinking of upgrading my home theater's subwoofer, and these Audiopulse subs look pretty nice. The pricing isn't too bad either, so I'm hoping they're decent. I just thought I should ask here first, because a lot of you guys know your stuff...

audiopulse IS TC. If memory serves me right, the Axis is based off the 3hp motor with some differences. Nice sub, too high of a price for my taste though.

I'd just find a 3hp motor floating around the classifieds then have it reconed with custom softparts.

So, is the company still in business? I heard TC went under.

I really think I'm going to buy one, but I don't want to if they're no longer around. I'm stuck with a pair of 15" Earthquake Magma's that need surround gaskets right now, and I don't want something like that to happen again...

TC is still around. They did go bankrupt and had a bankruptcy auction. However, the owner of TC bought pretty much everything back at the auction. As great as their subs are, it is still a shady company that i wouldn't wanna do business with. You'd be better off going with the more tried and true companies. Good luck with your search.

Man, I'm glad I found this forum.

I'm not completely stuck on the Audiopulse just yet, man. I'm just trying to find something that I haven't already used in the past, and I really think those Audiopulse's look clean. They handle a massive amount of power too, and that should be awesome for home theater use...

are you trying to get a sub for ht use or car audio? Like i said though, get the motor and have it reconed.
