Just got this sub from the pawn shop for super cheap. Good condition voice coils are good(I had my handheld DMM in the car), spider and tinsels are good. Hooked it up free air and no bad noises or burning. What do you think, should i keep it or see if i can sell it for a little profit? or should i see if i can find another and do a dual 15 setup

got bored and built a box for the audioPipe. Nothing fancy, just a regular slot vent, 3.6 cuft tuned to 33hz. Didnt feel like taking the time to carpet it today. I was amazed how hard it hit for being an AudioPipe. I've had the MTX 9515 and this AudioPipe was pretty close in perfomance.

Ill post a vid once i find my camcorder, but heres a pic of it in my car. I had to move my 12s to the back seat. I think they are pissed cause they kept slamming me in the back of the head while i was driving. lol

50 from a pawn shop. They had the model below this one priced at 150 so i think they might have mixed up the prices but, not my problem

For the price these definately aren't bad subs at all... You definately got a nice deal on that, i'd keep it and in the mean time save up for something else.

i already have 2 12s so this is just an extra sub. im gonna see if i one of my friends will buy it so i can get some REs

too bad i prolly wont find another for that cheap cause i bet 2 of these would do some decent numbers

John Carr was up into the mid 160s w/ i think 9 15" Audiopipes in his van walled off and before that in his Probe.

dam. ive heard alot of shit talked about audiopipe but so far its been good for me. you cant over push it though. i had to adjust my amp cause the sub started to get hot. i guess 1300+rms isnt good for it lol

LOL u definately wanna stay around their rated power, unless ur burping them. I wouldn't call them underrated by any means.

 

The Audiopipe subs w/ the old TC baskets are the ones that a friend of mine had and they were pretty bada*s woofers for the price. For sure impressed the hell out of me w/ their output.

i had a customer running 1 of the 15s with 2400rms for 2 yrs. these subs like the lower tuned boxes (below 40hz). there is the new apx's that use 3" coils now too.
