Audiopipe AP30001D - what am I missing out on?

Nope not buying used, I want something that has at least some sort of warranty because I've had some bad luck lately.
I do have to say that Audiopipe is a bit weak on the exterior department, the older Coustic used to have holes like that on their amps.

Found this Lanzar and it's supposed to be able to run .5 ohm daily... they sell one that does 1 ohm too.

LANZAR MAXP2055D 5000W MONO D Car Power Amplifier Amp - eBay (item 390216455724 end time Jul-13-10 18:47:15 PDT)

^^^ I'm guessing it's a 2500 RMS watt amp?
That Lanzar is the about same thing as a Hifonics HFi2500d. The AP is stronger. I have the ap30001d and it doesn't get that warm IMO. It runs kind of cool even when pushed. It might get warm putting it in a trunk, but I have a Tahoe.

Ok here is the dope from a guy who uses ap3000.1s in competitions. You will not want to run them daily under 1ohm per side or under 2ohm strapped they don’t like it. They can be run under for short burst but man do they draw some current. Run them right and they will last but they don’t sound real good. I got one new one that had a ball of solder rolling around in it and you could hear it when it came out of the box. Quality control must be non-existent where these are made. They are just cheep power not ideal for daily use or sound quality.

That's probably the most straight forward review I've seen, two thumbs up.

Who would want an amp that draws alot of current and doesn't even sound good? Not me.

fucking lulz

Well it's Sunday so I better decide wtf am I going to do since I'm sick of having no bass at all. Shieeeeeet...
seriously, stay away from those lanzar amps. my friend got that 4000w lanzar and 2 of those 15" $99 MB Quarts on woofersetc... long story short the amp hardly moves them w/ gains n volume all the way up... and he's using a cap to keep his voltage from dropping below 9 lol its so depressing

There solid amps. They draw a decent amount of current. But not alot, I drew 240 Amps of current @ 1 ohm. Yes I know the 3000's are only "2" ohm stable, but my impedance rises to 4.25 after resistance. I run 1 ohm daily with no problems. Puts out mad power. I would def recommend

This amp.
