Seriously guys!!!??? WTF!? This is a WTB thread so GTFO!!!! Jesus. People get so bent because they can't understand that an amp that isnt overpriced can put up the same numbers.
To the guy who had the 1500... You say it was crap. Why do you say this? What did this amplifier do or not do in order for you to come up with the conclusion?
Also, this amp has been benched and tested. It has shown that it puts out more power than rated. Also, an amp that can handle up to 16volts? Not bad for a $300 amplifier.
Check out this guy who tested his 30001D. Not sure why he was using 4 gauge wiring... Im a bit confused on why he would do that, but even with the 4 gauge wiring, the numbers are pretty impressive for a $300 amplifier. Obviously there is going to be some clipping when using 4 gauge wiring.

The amp is very versatile. You have the ability to get 3000wrms at 1 ohm or 2 ohm... If you run 16 volts you can easily achieve 5000wrms with proper electrical. I dont know of any amp in this price range... let me rephrase that, I dont know any amp twice the price of this amp if not maybe more that has capabilities like this and is durable.
And as far as it only being a daily driver amp. I beg to differ. I saw 2 of these in a Blazer with 4 Sundown Audio 15's pull a 156.2 with a Term Lab.
So please enlighten me why these Audiopipe amps are crap? Especially for the money? This thread has obviously went to crap. I was just trying to buy some amps but some a
ssholes had to come in here and s
hit on my thread for no reason.
And lastly, how can you sit here and tell me that I dont know what a good car audio amplifiers is? You dont know me. I have had plenty of stereos. I have been installing for 12 years. I was on the bandwagon at first about this amp being crap because of the price, but I decided to give the AP30001D a shot and I was extremely impressed. I had my 30001D benched at a car audio repair shop in Irving, TX and it did 3189 watts rms @ 1 ohm at 14.1 volts. And before you go off about my Audiopipe amp being at the repair shop, I didnt bring it in there for that. I brought it in there to bench it because I was like others, on the bandwagon of how an amp cost so little, put up solid numbers. I ran mine solidly for 2 years with no problems at 1 ohm and I listen to it at full tilt with 4 RE SE 12's in a ported box in my Tahoe in a 7 cu ft box tuned to 32hz. I never got it metered though. I wish I did. When I bought my truck, I sold the amp because I knew I wouldnt be able to fit the 4 RE SE 12's, so I sold two of my RE SE 12's and kept two of them and put them in a sealed box, sold the Audiopipe amp and dug out my Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1 at 2 ohms out of the "car audio closet." Now I am running my new setup and wanting to go back to the Audiopipe amp since I had such good luck with it and it ran solidly the entire time I had it with no problems. Never ran into protect mode.
I have read on the board as a guest before finally signing back up to see about getting an amp and I have read alot of great things about this amp that match up with my experience with my 30001D. Man, you are acting like I am running a Duel, Sony Xplod, or a Jensen amp or something. What you oughta do is buy a 30001D and try it out. If you dont like it, there are several online dealers like 3kingsaudio.com that will allow you to return the item within 30 days, no questions asked. Try it out, if you dont like it, return it for a full refund. If you do like it, you probably won't admit it. I just would like to know what is wrong with Audiopipe amplifiers. You haven't given any sort of real reasoning why they are "garbage"
So quit hating on the amp and post dumping on my thread. Create a thread in the amplifier section and we can continue a discussion there. And dont let my low post count fool you. Im not new to the site. I had been on this site for 10 years and I finally deleted my account because of people being a
sholes for no reason. This site use to be tolerable with constructive criticism, but now its just a bunch of a-holes who like to post dump on people's for sale threads, hate on newbies, and now I guess its progressed to post dumping on WTB threads. Jeez this site has actually gotton worse. I was hoping when I rejoined, people would have grew up, but I guess its just a new generation of people with computer muscles/mouth/typing fingers.
ill gladly take one of your old 3ks for testing since ive only had 1500s ... but i bet my 2k makes more clean power and does better meter wise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
I bet it doesnt, because the AP3k does 3000+wrms at 1 ohm and 2 ohm. I cant argue about the "clean" power though as I don't have any knowledge first hand. I can only go by the ratings in that department so since I dont know first hand as in, me physically being there, then I won't argue that point. Not because I don't think its true or not true, but because I haven't experienced it first hand
So once again, go create a thread about Audiopipe amplifiers so I can try to do what
I want to do. I mean, what is it to you on what I do? I honestly can't wait till I can get a new Audiopipe amp to put up against my FOUR Sundown Audio SA-8 V.2's Daily Driver SPL custom built by Jacob with SPL coils and an extra spider. I have a friend with a TermLab so I am eager to test it. The box is a tad less than 3 cu ft tuned to 30hz. So can I please get back to my business and be excited about hearing my new subs for the first time and getting me a new amp to power these? Thank you
