I need a new amp for my hdc318 with copper coils. Are these any good? I know the 1500s are considered pretty good for the $..but the 1800 is only 30 extra bucks. So was curious if anyone has experience with these? If not can you recommend an amp between 150/250 (please no mbquart..long story lol).?

between the two ap's i would go 1800 you can always back off the gains and car audio works as a machine in that you will always want to go louder and a larger amp will help you do so.

I am looking at this amp also does anyone have pics of the internals. Also what gauge power, ground, and speaker wire does it accept.

I prefer JL Audio but they are a bit more pricey, Kenwood has a good product but the price is a bit more, but if your wanting the best bang for the buck, I would suggest Jensen, the older models if possible. The Jensen amp is a mid-grade model with decent power for a cheap $. Good Luck.

terrible info in my opinion. jl are decent amps but definitely pricey. kenwood and jensen? really? kenwood is ok for a beginner setup but i wouldn't expect them to do rated plus they cost more than the audiopipe and whens the last time you saw a jensen amp do anywhere near the power of those audiopipe amps?
