i have never had my hands on the new shiva-x2 the shiva-x was amazing so im leaning towards that.

i bought that recoil amp hooked it up to one of my daytonas and it slammed, so i wanted to hook that amp up in my girls car with a nice 12, she has room for up to 2.5 cube ported in her trunk its pretty big as i had made a 2.5 sealed enclosure for her se's and it took only half the trunk.

that recoil amp looks cool....... but i am 100% going with the DC Lvl 3 sub.....or subs.....hmmmmmm

this is all going in my wifes new dodge caliber, so ill most likely stick with 1 sub, one thing i was going to ask, with that dc lvl 3 sub would this 12" Single Ported Subwoofer Enclosure with this Volume: 1.712 Cubic Feet, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140378024446&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT work good with it ? all i have ever made is sealed box's, so im going to need to buy one.....i heard they like the ported boxs better........not 100% on the spec chart what box is what, is it the slp one ? that would be fine because it is 1.71 and the sub will displace some of the volumn

If you can handle building a sealed enclosure, do so. No way would I put that sub in a $20 prefab. No way...

EDIT: Just noticed that $20 wasn't a buy it now price. Doesn't matter. Still sucks...

Meh, build a sealed enclosure yourself. No point in paying $100 to have an enclosure built and shipped. The sub itself simply isn't worth the extra expense in my opinion. The Level 3 does well in sealed enclosures anyway...

where are you from sometimes you can find local diyma's who will help or build you a sub box for fairly cheap compared to a shop in your area
