So ultimately, the collective efforts of the handful seeking to harm Audiomobile, despite the fact that it is THEIR childish and unprovoked attacks against our company, that have compelled me to address their transgressions in the FIRST place, only go to prove the how transparent their efforts are.

Want to talk reviews? Previously you were extended an offer to set the facts strait about your product line and its capabilities in a very unbiased comparison between your woofer and a comperable woofer from Adire Audio.

The test guidelines and mannor the tests were to be conducted were sent to yourself and Mr. Wiggins and also posted for everyone to see on the http://www.carsound.com forums. The terms were acceptable to yourself and Mr. Wiggins. He shipped his woofer for the comparrison, yet you did not ship yours. Instead you backed out at the last minute; crying an absurd sound of foul play.

Time and time again it was made clear that this would be an unbiased test, yet you did not come through.

Afraid that your products arent all you brag them up to be?

Afraid of a Real world comparrison by Real world enthusiasts?

If memory serves, a majority of those eagerly anticipating this comparrison, were deeply upset with you on this matter.

Likewise, many also shared the opinion that you were hiding something.

Frankly, to myself, and to a number of others whom I know, the reviews of the Magazine columnists mean nill without a real world, every day user's review.

I now hold the position of Editor in Chief of Momentum; Soundillusions' Premier Car Audio and Entertainment information resource for the evey day enthusiast, as well as the seasoned vets.

Our little online mag gets more hits a day than many websites generate in an entire month. I have personally witnessed this on numerous occasions.

I offer you this chance once again.

Stand behind your products and allow us to review one of your new woofers. I assure you again, the testing will still be unbiased. All the results will be published and publicly displayed in the magazine for all to see. No deviation or alteration of the actual results will be allowed.

If you choose to accept this, I will be in contact with you and Mr. Wiggins frequently to ensure that both parties are clear on the guidlines to the testing. Both parties will be kept informed regularly and sent a copy of the final results and article before it is released. At this time, each party will be allowed to make a public comment regarding the review and its findings.

No flaming or mudslinging will be allowed by either party.

We offer world-class products (with documented performance to back up the subjective opinions) and superb value (every single review has hammered this point home).

 

No amount of immature 'rabble' from the juvenille shills for our "competition" (all of whom have a overt and clear agenda to their actions) will change the above facts...

 

We are content to grow our business on the strength of our stellar, expert reviews and the word of mouth referrals that our customer base provides for us...

 

Those who insist on their juvenille rants and name calling, only goes to prove just how infantile they really are...

reviews, especially in large magazines with a large reader base, with money tied up here and there, left and right,

[reviews] can and will be subjective.

rarely have I read a car audio and electronics review and said, "dang, that was the epitome of objectivity and intelligence". I got into reading ca&e in '94, and their reviews have this air about them. Could it be the stink of a payoff for the magazine? Perhaps, perhaps not, but, the reviews, are rarely congruent with my own experiences, which I try to base as much off of actual physics and listening as possible. Taking another man's word for it is hard to do, unless they make a superb case that shows and accurrate understanding of reality. When I say reality, the things that we can say for certain through objective tests actually exist.

FYI

I never heard of audiomobile untill now, and now that I have, I am surely no potentional customer of theirs.

unfortunately, the company cant do anything about matts stupidity, because he owns it. if that *** werent in control, i would actually have audiomobile on my list of subwoofers to look at buying. i wont buy from a prick when i can buy something equal or better from someone who is TRULY a businessman, and will not insult my intelligence if i say that i have a problem with equipment i bought from them.

Ya, you can tell that Overpeck is just another car salesman looking to make profit, without the care and respect of his customers. He seems to be concerned with quantities sold rather than quality.

alright all of you may think i'm a freaking moron after this but i'm willing to buy a pair of audiomobile 12"s if i can get the link there. i might even look into their best woofer's which i have no idea what they are depending on the return policy. i don't know you guys think i'm a total jack *** for this or maybe give my first review on a pair of audiomobile subs on this site.

What you do is up to you. I don't know why you would want to buy something from them after Matthew has proven himself to be a such a poor businessman, but you are free to do/say what you like.

yeah i'm gonna email them and give 2 12"s a test to see what they do off my MA 1000watt amp maybe i can fry em but who knows with me sometimes. anyway other opinions are very welcome from the wise people on this audio forum.

i was really thinkin about it before i went to the site emailed them and checked up on pricing. hell no i'm not about to pay 350 to peckerhead for a sub like that when my DD's didn't cost that much for a 15". i wanted to try it out to see what they were like but i can't afford them seeing as how i need like another 750-800 to get my DD's in my car. my goal is to have them in by mid october.

look at it this way if he dont wanna "do the test" he either knows he has wronged someone into not likeing him or he already knows what the outcome will be......if he doesnt want you to know then that should speak bounds about it. noone would rag on it if it did what overpeck says they would just rag on him lol. but like i said before who cares? cause there are lots of camparible things out there for less $$$$
