The funny part is not the intentional scam, it's the other scam that eludes people.................

Audiogon is a hub for exotic audio, even if the transaction is legit, you are still getting

wow, i just saw legacy speakers for like $4000, thats ridiculous. and mcintosh speakers for $4000, but listed as $16k retail. who the fvck would pay 16 grand for speakers? they better love me loooong time for that much money

Anyway what's wrong with scammers these days, they all same the same thing, in the same tone, and talk the exact same. Just makes it easy on us?

yeah i was sellin some shit on craigslist recently and i got an email about my MBQs i had on there. it sounded like a foreigner. thn he said hed "give me an extra $20 for my troubles" he also said hed overnight me a check. well i got the check and it was for over $1600. then i got an email asking me to ship the speakers, and western union him the balance of the check. obviously i didnt even try to cash it, i just reported him to the authorities //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I like browsing Audiogon. It's home audio, so I expect it to be overpriced, but you can find good deals on good products if you're looking for it.

That is true, myself I am looking for a rotel 1095 on their that is local but I might hold off... and buy a projector ive been wanting to get.
