Audiofonics- SRSLY underated

So today i got a audiofonic ADF-2844 for 140 at the shop down the street.

this thing overpushed my sub Sitting at 20% gain and zero bassboost with negative on the head unit

the book says

175X2@4ohm

260X2@2ohm

520X1@4ohm

I have to say, this amp is very nice. Opened it up to see how slimmed down the guts were like most amps and it was pretty good looking inside too. Wasnt just a bunch of open space.

What kind of sub you have? What coil config? Did you clamp the amp to see what it is actually putting out?

I ran the AudioFonics-ADF-2842 @ 2ohms on one channel on my DD 3518 for a lil bit....supposedly 150 watts rms



100$ Shipped if anyone wants it...lol..Does like 300x1 @ 4ohms bridged

I dont have a clamp or id test it, but **** it hits. I needs to get a new sub to handle it. My 500rms polk cant take it. I I come across a tester ill post what it comes to be

There subs are meh I ran 2 for a month...not very impressed

Out of curiosity...... what is "20% gain?"... gain isnt a percentage... or a volume control.. its voltage matching..

some amps have gain as a 1 -> 11 measurement instead of the typical input level 0.2v - 2v or whatever
