AudioControl Epicenter

I had a few quick questions about the audiocontrol epicenter.

Has anyone used the thing?

Any benefits?

Any drawbacks?

I saw it on realmofexcursion.com (great site by the way) in a few cars and the difference was awesome. from no excursion to like max with the flip of a button (and they were bangin to like Micheal Jackson's - Billie Jean). sounds cool, and at only ~$150 sounds like a deal. I only ask, because it looks as if it was used in SPL cars only, and I thought it may have negative effects on my system if used. I guess as long as I dont go overboard with the addition it should be relatively safe.

Shoot me back. Love to hear some insight. All is appreciated.

I love my epicenter, would never go with out one at this point, if used properly all songs can get loud and sound good with it.

hmm, I'd never run one, but that's me. I guess it depends on your overall systems goals.

i dont run 1,but they have thier place in some audio systems,but most people who get them tend to overuse them,and a epicenter can f up a sub quick.

yep, i only use my epic whenever i listen to rock or somehting along those lines...i need to reproduce those bass lines

yea something like hotel california or something.also if you use a epicenter on a bass song that already beats hard,you wont tell much difference.

i'm into regae as well, i dont know many good artists, the only artist i really know are BOb, damian, ziggy, and Matisyahu.
