Does anyone have any experience with this item? i'm curious as to how accurate the spl meter is. if it's within like 1-2 db's it'd be cool to have a general idea of what number you were hitting and your voltage readout all in one

I have at work, they are pretty awesome IMO and Id like to have one myself... And I have red the DB meter is pretty close like 3/4 DB's off of the termlab...

I've read that they are temp sensitive on the meter and can really skew the numbers.

Also, can you use this on a sub output? I would think it needs a full range signal to work properly. Most sub outputs cut off above 125 hz

I use mine on my sub output, but just make sure you run a full signal with no high or low pass filters. It uses the upper frequencies to determine where to divide the signal and amplify it. I don't know exactly how it works but thats pretty much what I know. It works really well with some songs and not as well with others. The spl meter is pretty accurate imo.

I have it and my car miked at 143.4 at my last show this sub wit the windows open I got to 145 this epic 160 says I hit 151 under my steering wheel
