Audiocontrol EPIC 160

I just bought this from someone on here a few weeks ago, But after installing it i came to realize my front stage sounded like **** without my Audiocontrol three.1, so out came the epic 160 and back in the three.1. $150

For anyone who hasnt tryed a epic 160 it really is very cool for any basshead!

Did you use the meter?I was wondering if it was a crapppy gimic or how accurate they were?

And I have seen they are withing 2/3 DBz on a TL

Meter is a bit off from the TL, of course for most installs the number where you'd mount this and the number at the dash or kick can be up to 5db off too! It is still accurate enough against itself to test if you gain or lose output when tweaking and get a rough idea of your frequency response.

I liked mine but mounted a center channel in my dash instead and sold it. The bass restoration feature is awesome for older music with rather anemic sounding low freqencies in the recordings. Parliament/Funkadelic and some 80's heavy metal were some of the things I though it improved most.
