You're going to hear everything about audiobahn from "they ****" to "they're the greatest thing since the orgasm". I personally own and love my audiobahn 1200Q, and as far as their performence, I'll let my numbers speak for themselves:

Have you ever owned or heard a properly installed audiobahn?
They're not an SQ woofer, but I wouldn't say they sound any worse than most SPL woofers. Where else are you going to find a solid SPL woofer that will post these sorts of numbers with less than the recommended RMS power, and a reasonable price to boot?
Oh yeah....I beat out three 12w0's in a ford aspire (sealed box), two 10w3's in an integra(slot ported), and a kicker L712 in a sunfire (slot ported), all professionally installed by either Hart Audio of Albany Ohio or H & K Sound of Jackson Ohio, with my self-installed "143 db fart".
Don't rag on my equiptment. I didn't install it to make you happy or impress you. I was simply suggesting to this guy that it's a good SPL sub, especially for the price. If you can suggest something in the same price range that will hang with the 'bahn, feel free. Otherwise, don't waste my, his, or your own time.

well first off the MMATS Pro series sub can hand with Auto's and even surpass them in regards as a well rounded sub.... also can be had for around 120.00 per sub....
Autobahns are basically a product that never increases the quality of their line. They put face lifts on their subs and make them look pretty, but they have no kind of advancement. In my experience they have been over-rated (push 800 watts into any of their subs rated at 800 and see how long it last
