After months of working my *** off, im finally ready to get a system installed. I have purchased and installed the head unit already (Kenwood Excelon 859), and am very, very happy with it. Now comes the tough part, choosing the right subs. I was pretty sure that i wanted 2 or 3 JL 12"w3's, but after hearing a demo of the Audiobahn Aluminum 12"'s, im undecided. I have figured that i can afford 3 w3,s or 2 Alum's, with the rest of the system. Which choice is better? Subs would probably be put in a sealed box. I want the system to sound great, and be loud, but not ridiculously loud....i don't plan to compete. Also, how are the viper amps? The system that was on demo was powered by the 1200.1 viper. I do not have much experience with viper amps, and was just wondering how they compared to, say, JL and Rockford amps. Finally, for interior speakers, i am looking at the JL XR570CX....any other suggestions? The W3 (V2's I assume) will sound very, very nice, but the SPL is severely lacking in my opinion....Audiobahns will be louder, but won't sound as good....what price range do you have both for the subs and amp combined?

for price range, i was trying to stay around 1500, installed for amp, subs, box, and interiors, with install. I can do the interiors myself, but im not so sure how to install an amp and want it done right.

For the most part...

JL = SQ

Audiobahn = SPL

So it really depends on what you want to bump in your ride for a while. The Alums are suppose to be pretty good for SQ, now the Flames, those are all the way SPL
