Audiobahn - Why all the haters?

Actually I got both my aw1206t's $200. I think you can get those AWIS for $240. Those aw1206t's didn't sound like gold, but i'm an spl'er so what sounds like gold to some people sounds like crap to me. So if your looking for alot of low (30hz and under) and are just in it for the bass then their quite impressive. If you value SPL more than SQ, shouldn't it be the other way around. What sounds like crap to the rest of the world sounds good to you?

Some people just put them through more than what they can handle. So it says it can take 2000rms, and most people know they can't. But then they still give it 2000rms? They over state the power handling / power output everybody knows that. Every other company understates their power handling / power output. Every one knows that. People expect things to do what they say. When 90% of the companies don't. So people get AB products and try to give them rated power knowing that it can't handle it. That's just retarded. If you know something can't do something. Don't make it do it. Even if it says it can. I had 2 aw1206t, gave them a 1000rms a piece for a year and a half. I was doing alot more with those 2 12" then some of my friends with 15"s. I just knew what they were capable of and only gave them that. Plus I had the proper install. Everyone knows that is what counts. So if you can make a product last for years and sound good to your self and others. Where everyone else blows them and can't make em' sound good, what's that say about yourself. And what's that say about everyone else. I am not targeting any of the last posters. So if you take this as attack against you, then you are ignorant. Just stating what everyone has.

if i was having a conversation with you, and you used know that many times, i dont think i could take anything you were saying seriously. unsure why, but that was just annoying to read.

pretty much bandwagon haters, my first stuff was audiobahn the amp worked fine to over a year and then i sold it, i blew both subs cuz i was a noob and maxed out the gain lol

you can pretty much get any sub or speaker to move and make some kind of sound--and, depending on the enclosure, you may fool your ears into believing it is good sound. Hearing is subjective after all. And ya, an audiobahn will attempt to reproduce sub frequency tones... it just depends on the build, ie: quality of materials used in the motor of the sub and in the cone. Lot's of different things make a quality sub...unfortunately the only thing Audiobahn got right was making it circular in shape! LOL (no offense Kicker)

A GOOD subwoofer is an investment..it is worth a little extra money to buy a reputable product... like JL, and know you are going to have a sub that will last 5 years or more. My last sub was purchased in 1995 (JL 12W04) and finally gave up on me 11 years later. It cost me more, and I had to save longer... but in the long run... I didnt have to replace it after a few months after running it at full volume all the time. ............IMO of course

IMO their not bad i have a 12" 1206t in my boat and it does OK(first install). i think people dont like them because they spen most of their time making the sub look purrrty; like the chrome flammed basket and w/e else they do. o and they also sound like poo. But thats jus my guess and expierence on why their hated
