Hey, if that happened to a RLP for example it would be worth fixing it if you could......same with his audiobahn if its all he can afford.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Besides the Alum12x isnt really a bad sub. Now if it was like any of their lower end crap I would definitely agree with ya a lil.

So I saw some kid/guy bring in a sub to work and spotted him and asked him about it, blah blah blah. Long story short, his spider came completely loose from the frame of the sub. I told him, suggested anyway, to use superglue or some sorta glue to assemble back in place....and inside a warm area, such as his home...since it gets cold here....nope, I don't think he took my suggestion. Tells me later he's gonna send 200 watts to it instead of 800. Oh it's the Alum12X I do believe the model # is....

gorilla glue would work. for my old solobaric's, i went down walgreens and bought some liquid krazy glue to seal the outer rubber housing back onto the square mounting. (not the actual outer cone of the woofer, the surround...not sure what its called). my point is that the krazy glue worked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the alum series isnt really that bad. thats what i had has my first sub setup and they got really loud and sounded pretty good. worthless post but thought i would give them some credit
