i have 2 12" audibahn aw1206t with audiobahn a18001dt amp and putting that into a vented box. 2.44 cuft airspace per chamber and a clarion 745vd head unit 5v preout..

my question is to what frequency do i tune the amp the box can be TUNED TO 35 Hz

and the sub to 38hz i think ...what settings can i use and how do i wire the subs for max performance?? thanks

Connect the positive of the speaker to an electrical plug and the negative to the ground. Maximum output and fun from audiobahn. I'd throw the amp in the oven at 600 degrees for about 10 hours and light the box on fire on the grill while roasting marshmellows and drinking a good stout beer.

Well anyway, that's my opinion about audiobahn... it's cr ap. Now, you can't "tune" an amp per say but you can set the gain. You can tune a box, but you can't tune a speaker. For maximum performance, look at the ohms rating of the voice coils and the stable rating of the amp. Wire the subs so you have optimum ohms resistance. Set your amplifier gain (read the sticky) using a digital multimeter. If you don't know what you are doing, get it professionally installed and stay away from best buy/circuit city when you have it done.

If you just bought all of this equipment, take it all back and get something decent. The type-r is cheap enough for good sound quality and I'm sure you can find an Orion 1500 somewhere fairly cheap. As for the box, don't buy any prefab boxes... most of them ****.
