AudioBahn Alum12Q question?

Hey guys.

I Bought a used AudioBahn Alum12Q for 30 bucks which is an insane deal.

The thing is i odnt know which amp to get to get the loudest sound out of it.

Its 1000w rated but i dont know which amp to get .

I dont wanna go all out on price either.

Something loud and simple.

Zx1500.1 is about as cheap as its going to get. you need a 1000 watts at 3 ohms so the zx will put out 1500+ at 2ohms so prolly 1100 1200 at 3 ohms

i just talked tomy buddy and hes giving me the other Alum12Q

so ill have to of them now which will run at 1.5 ohms?

what amp can i use now?

Ok..

My buddy From best buy has an open box Kenwood 1800watt #KAC-9104d for 199.99.

Ill run the subs at 1.5 ohms and im assuming it will be loud.

what do u guys think?

that kenwood will put out nowhere near 1800 watts rms. it won't even do 1000. max watts or peak watts is a useless rating.

it is 2 ohm stable. you could probably run it at 1.5, but not to push 2 1000 rms subs (that is the rms rating on alums isn't it?). it puts out about 900 watts rms @ 2 ohms. it would already be pushing too hard without being wired .5 ohms under stability.

No I looked it up they're apparently 2k max, 1k rms... I wouldn't trust that.

theyre not bad subs at all. my fiance has had her pair running off a PG x600.1 (~300wrms a piece) for 2 or 3 years without any problems. im not sure how theyd like their 'rated' wattage but the most id give em would probably 600w piece.
