Audiobahn A4004T or A6004T

I was looking at both of these amps to power a set of front componenets or coaxials (looking into Infinity Kappa series) and a 8" or 10" sub (add a little bass to complement fronts). Which one would be better for my needs?

The A4004T is 50W RMS x 4 at 4 ohms

The A6004T is 75W RMS x 4 at 4 ohms

Any help would be appreciated.

the one with more power. 75 watts to both coaxials and then bridging the second 2 channels to get about 150+ watts to a single sub would be a good starter setup.

DON'T DO EITHER! Audiobahn is the worst company alive and makes the worst products ever. I would recomend staring away from them as best as possible. You might think it looks cool but is it worth the sacrafice of a good amplifier!

I am an owner of the Audiobahn A4601T and it blew after having it for only 1 month and I WAS UNDERPOWERING THE **** THING! Audiobahn ***** and their customer service is even worse! It's horrible!

Look into something else on ebay that is in the same price range that is trust worthy. Xtant, JL, Alpine, etc.

I bet you didnt set your gain correctly. Post things like that if you have something to back it up.

And is Xant, Alpine, and JL the only comanies you have heard of?

Dude your stupid. No I didn't set my gains incorrectly. Because it wasn't even close to clipping.

oh yeah and I'm a complete idiot those are the only brands I have ever heard of...Your an idiot. I could probably more brands then you even knew exsisted!

Sorry if this topic started to touch people's buttons. I am new to the car audio world and do not know good from bad. I was also looking into the Phoenix Gold Octane R5.0:4. It is in the same price range. Any other suggestions for amps that are in the price range, are 4 channel and good for providing crisp power to 6.5s in the front and a small 8" or 10" sub?

I wouldn't say that Audiobahn is the worst company ever. There are several that given a limited option of them or Audiobahn I would take the Audiobahn without question (Pyle, Sparkomatic, Kraco, Dual, etc)

You will find that Audiobahn is rather unpopular here in the CA.com forums as they seem to spend the lion's share of their R&D budget into getting the most 'bling' incorporated into their product lines rather than manufacturing quality gear. For the same $$ that you'll spend on Audiobahn there are multiple options available that would suit your needs better and do so more reliably.

If you really like the Audiobahns, however, the first response you were given regarding getting the 6004 as opposed to the 4004 due to the higher output was a good one.

Let us know a proposed budget and we'd be better able to make suggestions.

Thank you for the help everyone. I am looking to spend around 150 or so for an amp. Any reviews on the Phoenix Gold Octane series? They have a 4 channel amp that has 75W RMS that seems pretty nice. Also, I am thinking of running the amp to the TR series JL component speakers. Any other amps besides the Audiobahn in the same price range that would be better? My HU is going to be either the Pioneer DEH M80MP or the DEH 7700MP (cant decide between these two as well).
