Audiobahn A4002T

it appears to be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif should work great for that application... audiobahn amps seem pretty solid despite popular belief

The only problem with audiobahn is not the fact that they make bad amps or bad subs they just have a bad name here for lack of customer service and Most of their speakers have a reputation for lacking SQ. I have been using Audiobahn amps for a while now and have done plenty of setups with just about every amp they have sold... no problems.. well one but that was because the moron was running speaker wire for ground wire on a 800w amp. BUt other than that no problems. I right now i have 4 of the A8000T's and they put out what they say ( yes i did have it bench tested by the shop ) and they stay cool... I have only overheated them once... and that was on a 9 hour road trip... they started to shut down at around hour 6.

I hate audiobahn and am a very very VERY unhappy customer of having one of there amps to power my system...

Would you like to back that up with something?

From my experience with their amps and from friend's experiences, I have found that they are decent amplifiers. They do put out what they are rated at, and they are fairly reliable. And for the price, you cant beat it... In that price range, its usually a toss up between Audiobahn, Legacy, and Pyramid, maybe MA Audio as well. I would go with Audiobahn for a good low priced amp any day.

And?
Do you have any experiences you would like to share with us?

My point exactly, he says crap and doesnt tell why he feels that way. He is arguing with me about it via PMs right now... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

So anyway, he is wrong to an extent, about "great amps, bad subs".

REASONS... (not so hard to tell why Echo)

Their amps are not "great", nor are they horrible. They will put out the RMS that they say, but do not expect to get amazing SQ from a $100 amp. In my experience, they tend to last a fair amount of time, they are solidly built. But as for their subs, they are not badly made either. They just are low end, but with high end prices for some reason. They can normally handle what they say, but most of the time can not be abused at all. They get loud as hell, but sound like shit doing it.

So Audiobahn is not that bad of a company, I think that for the price, their amps are great. But just the same, for the price, their subs are not worth it.

Edit- And to answer your original question, no it is not a "quality" amp. But it will do the power it says, and it is a nice amp for the price, (get it on eBay though... HERE )
