Audio Technix 60 mil review.

So around a month or so ago Coleman held the Audio Technix giveway.

I was fortunate enough to have won the 20sq ft of 60mil.

My car was in the shop when i got the deadner and promised i would leave a review when i got my car back.

Well i got my car back last saturday and finally had some free time to put some in my trunk.

I already had all of the trunk lined with the home depot deadner because that is all i could afford at the time, but i hadn't done the inside of my rear quarter panels, which if you know subaru sedan's, is quite a large area.

All i have to say is WOW, what a difference it made. It actually reduced quite a bit of flex on the quarters.

Also used it to seal up the 2 trunk vent cutouts and it worked perfectly.

Added some extra deadner to my trunk lid to patch up most of the cut-outs.

Very easy stuff to work with, and easy on the razor blades. Only ended up using 4 12"x24" sheets. Still have 6 left. Definitely have to get to work on doing my front door panels.

Hey Coleman, hook me up with a small audiotechnix sticker. Def have to rep it.

Here are some (crappy) pics.

Cool, man. My rear quarters are way overdue. And those stupid trunk vents. Good lawd.

The 60 mil just looks great. It's like tape. Forms crazy easy and really gets the job done. You really don't need mattress sized deadener to accomplish what most of us need.

The quarters/fender wells and the spare tire well are what really need it the most. That is what made the most difference, not just for bass, but for road noise too.

I need to get some of that sound deadning spray stuff and spray my fender liners.

Finally added the rest of the deadner to the front doors.

What a difference it made. Not only made my mids sound better all around, but the road noise difference was pretty phenomenal, considering my car is made of aluminum foil.

here is a video. Un-deadned vs deadned. This is just with 1 layer of 60 mil.

Nice comparo. Should be able to put my free 10sq ft on the doors (and hopefully the trunk lid) this weekend, weather and family permitting.
