If it had been stated ANYWHERE on this site that is was against TOS to post the link, than I woulnd't have posted it. Hence my problem with the premisis of the ban, NOWHERE does it clearly state it against the forum rules. As a person of moderate intelligence, you should be able to see where I am coming from.
And FYI, as a matter of fact, it IS possible to remove it with a few clicks, but obviously you like to state facts you do not have knowledge of.

i could see that the rule creator isn't here anymore but the semi rule went into effect 2 months ago.

i have to say at first 3-4 times it was funny but after wards it got very annoying.

some of us don't just have one I.E open with the forum, a lot of us have tons of pages open as we are trying to work or gather information in I.E. that is not fun having to close all pages cause of a stupid link.

just take the 1 month ban.

There's a bijillion page thread on the subject, stating that a PERMANENT ban will be given for posting the link. Want me to get it for you?

Also, I don't care if you can remove it with a few links, the majority of people will sit there and pull up task manager and kill it, because trying to x it out will result in you sitting there and clicking through the entire lyrics of the song.

I think only Goob can IP ban...and Goob does not endorse banning for rick rolling. However, he doesn't prevent the mods from banning for it though.

It's not the ban that bothers me, I would have quietly taken a 10 day ban no problem, lesson learned. It's the premisis that the ban was administered is what I have a problem with. It is infringing upon business I was conducting on this forum and THAT I have a problem with.

if its not the ban, you would STFU, realize life isnt fair. go do something else then boost your post count.
