I've heard basically everything that JL has to offer, both on a sound board and in a car. If they were competitively priced then I'd look at JL when I'm buying new equipment.

As far as big boys go... Rockford Fosgate, MTX, Kicker, MB Quart, Eclipse, etc. As far as MSRP's go, JL's prices are much higher for comparable products.
