The MSRP on JL products is on average much higher than most of their competitors who offer comparable products. That's a fact. You can find deals on JL stuff sure, but you could do the same with other brands, so that's irrelevant.

I had the JL 300/4 and the PG 200.4 is IMO by far better. I can't compare the 1000/1 to the 1200.1, but if it is anything like the 500/1 to the 600.1, the PG is better as well.
