Anyone that knows their way around AC, I need a little work done.

I need some files to be able to run the plexi on a CNC machine. I need the "MAG" and "FC" logos done in autocad, in a release 12 format I am told. Need them to be pretty much exact like shown on the design pic above. Max dimesions of the acutal logos are 6" wide, and 5 1/2" tall. But I need them to look about the same size as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Just let me know if you are interested.

If I lacked any info, just tell me what you need.

Max dims are 6" wide and 5 1/2" tall. Just go as large as possible, but still keep it in proportion. Also, Ideally it would look best if both were the same size as well.

do you have an exact preference? i would also need a depth too i believe, the cnc has to know how deep to mill the design. also if you have pic files of mag and fc, ill need them

wish I could help ya out but I only do 2d cad stuff. Spend about 8 hours a day 40 hours a week doing it and would be willing to help out with some 3d stuff if need be. Sounds like speedfreak has it under control though.

As he said some sort of a jpeg or so file (preferable to the dimensions you want, or a scalable dimension) would work great to trace the logo into cad and then work on teh 3d portion from there.

Us civil engineers gotta be good for something right

actually for the fisher logo ya can just do a save as on the log in his sig. Then just scale it up to get the FC part roughly 6" wide

I dunno how picky the CNC machines are, I am guessing quite picky, but in anycase here is the fisher logo done in cad 2D, and I could probably make it into something 3D but again not exactly sure the requirements for the CNC machines.

The letters are 4" tall by 5-7/8" wide.

half way there lol, bjfish if you have the box top and plexi panel dimensions, it will make it alot easier to get it exactly how you want

Well, I dont believe it has to be a 3d file. The bit depth is controlled by the ShopBot program. We will export the file to it then adjust depth, bit speed, feed speed, cutter path, etc.

The FC logo, like mentioned can be grabbed from my sig, or possibly my site. If you need a different one, let me know. For the MAG one, Ill have to see if I can get ahold of another shot of what is on the actual design.

I should also mention, I will throw in a few bucks for whoever helps. And also may need more of the exact same kind of stuff in the future, so someone that I can get ahold of easily when needed, would be great.

As speedfreak said dimensions of the panels would be nice and I can center the logo or whatever onto the panel shape or just give a general box around them. Also I can save it back to R12 format.
